go all out to make a sale, go all the way for success
To 'go all out' means to put all of your resources, energy or effort into something. You might 'go all out' when organising a party and have the best decorations, amazing food and top entertainment. You could 'go all out' to get a place in the school you want to go to, signing up to extra classes, making sure your results are excellent and working very hard. To 'go all the way' means to take something as far as it can go. "I believe this team can go all the way, but only if we put in the work." You will hear both of these expressions in social and professional contexts.
