Learning to Use the Future Continuous Tense

The Core Characteristic of the Future Continuous is to predict a temporary action in the future. The inclusion of the continuous form emphasizes the temporary nature of the future activity.

Note that the Reference Point (R) is placed at a specific point during the stated action,  as you can see from Diagram 1. The verb in the Future Continuous form starts before this time marker and ends after it.
