Resolve tension
As we said before, when you have disagreements between people it can cause tension or an uncomfortable atmosphere.

Resolve issues
Resolving issues is the same as 'resolving problems' - it is fixing things that have gone wrong.

Resolve disputes
To resolve disputes is another way of saying 'resolve disagreements' - to come to an agreement between people who are arguing.

Resolve matters
This is another way of saying 'solving problems' or 'resolving issues'.

- We are very interested in buying this house, but there are a few matters we would like to resolve before we agree on a price.
Resolve disagreements
Again, this is another way of saying you are coming to an agreement, particularly with two parties who have two different standpoints.

- I often avoid conflict, but this means I find it difficult to resolve disagreements.
