If something is 'on the table' it is being offered or is up for discussion. "Our suggestion is still on the table for the next few days if you change your mind." If something is 'off the table' it is no longer on offer, up for debate or possible to be considered. "Due to the issues we had last year, that event is off the table for this years program ." Both of these expressions are idioms used in social and professional contexts.
