The phrasal verb fall out has a number of meanings. If something falls out such as hair or teeth, for example, it means to drop out or become detached from the body. So when you are a child your baby teeth fall out to make room for your adult teeth. If something falls out it drops out of the place where it was contained. To fall out with somebody can mean to have a disagreement or to quarrel or argue with someone. If you fall out with your friend, you are no longer friends anymore. You can also fall out of a formation meaning to become detached from the group for example in a parade. To fall out can also mean to occur, result from or to be revealed.
