Okay, well, I recently completed a Degree in Human Resources as a part-time mature student. I have been working through my Degree over a six-year period while raising three children. The reason I mention this is to show how I've kept on top of my studies while balancing the demands of a family. It has been a long road but I made it to my goal and never gave up.

During my time in University I gathered many contacts who are now working in the sector. The contacts I made hold me in high regard as I have shown great work ethic in the countless group tasks and projects we were involved in.

Through one of the contacts I made, I was able to bag myself a six-month work placement towards the end of my course. In this work experience I learned in detail the many different HR processes e.g. Employee Remuneration, Benefits Administration, Performance Management, Employee Relations, just to name a few.

Because of how tough the past six years have been, it has made me into a tougher individual who's willing to fight to make it to my end goal. I won't stop until I get a job done and I will leave no stone unturned in my quest to achieve the highest standards.

Analysis

Most of the other Interviewees had similarities to each other but the Human Resources Interviewee stands out on their own. Studying part-time makes the Degree considerably longer to complete and also raising a family shows a great deal of perseverance and ambition. 

The Interviewee touches on their ability to network and develop relationships when they highlight how they got their work placement during their course; this ranks high in the world of HR because of the day-to-day work with people internally and externally. More often than not, a people's person is a skill that cannot be taught and usually comes naturally; although it can be developed through experience. Considering the profession, this would stick out a mile as a positive for the employer, but would raise a red flag if the Interviewee came across in the opposite manner.

The Interviewee closes their answer with determination and describes how much they have matured through all of their hard work. The Interviewee gets the point across that he/she is ready to step in to employment and is willing to take on any challenge.

Overall, the Interviewee did extremely well. They got in all of the relevant details while maintaining focus. They dipped in and out of their personal story-line, ensuring that the message was received. They outlined some processes which they had worked at in their work placement. Very valid points, all given concisely. This Interviewee was bang on the money throughout.
